Hey Ladies,

I am just trying to remember a show that I used to watch as a kid. I think it aired approximately between 1990 and 1992 it may have been earlier or later.

It used to be about a boy and a Labrador and a blue dog called Poochie. That is all I can remember so I am not that great with the details.

I also remember as a kid having the Poochie quilt cover set and the pillow case provided a pocket where you could put the Poochie stuffed toy in when you went to sleep.

I was discussing it with my Mum the other day and we cannot remember the name of the show.

Thanks Ladies :-)

Oh Happy New Year!!! (I said it early) I hope your new year is everything you hope it to be :-)

From your description I can only remember Belle and Sebastian cartoon (boy with dog) and the Poochie dog was a pink Japanese creation. I had a stamp with Poochie on it sort of like this:

Thanks heaps. I am pretty sure that Belle and Sebastian is the show although the Poochie character on the show is white. I searched the show on youtube and it looks really familiar and the Poochie dog is what the boy carries around in his pocket. That is why on my quilt set you used to keep the Poochie dog in a pocket on the pillow case.
The only difference is the poochie dog toy that I had was blue. But that could have been they wanted the kids to have different coloured toys.

Thanks :-)
