I threw out 16 pairs of shoes just before Christmas, leaving me with 29.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

At least 50 ph34r.gif

I have lots of beautiful heels but they are very rarely worn these days. Can't bring myself to part with them though

2. A pair of gym shoes and a pair of toms. I should really get a pair of sandals at some stage, but can't be bothered.

I'd have somewhere around 20-25 I think. That's simply going on memory of what is in my cupboard and in the shoe area downstairs. Half of them (flats for days with kids and heels for work) would get worn at some point each week. My poor runners don't get an outing ever and I have several pairs of gorgeous heels I don't get the opportunity to wear anymore.

Around 10 I think. They all get worn a few times a month, depending on what's going on.

Most often it's sneakers for work and thongs at home though.

I like shoes a lot and very rarely throw them out. But OP, even though I can't be bothered counting them, I couldn't compete with you. So I rarely buy them too, I suppose. I have shoes I bought in the 1960's.
