Hey there everyone Newbie here, biggrin.gif

I am new to this website, but hoping I can get some advice and support. original.gif

My DH and I have been TTC since Oct 2011 sad.gif , we went to see a FS in Nov 2012 and had some tests done to find out why we haven't had any results in getting pregnant.

I have now been diagnosed with PCOS, low vitamin D and insulin intolerance and DH has results like he is on recreational drugs or smoking, which he does neither.

We have been told that our only way of getting pregnant will be to do IVF, so due to my results, the FS has put me on Metformin and wanting to see how I go with my weight loss until the 1st February, when we will go back to see her. She is worried I will almost certainly become diabetic if we were to start IVF now.

Has anyone else gone through IVF who can give me some insight as to what we can expect?

We are hopeful that 2013 is our year rolleyes.gif

Hi Waiting4Little1
Sorry I can only offer a very quick suggestion, and that's to join one of the Buddy Groups within the AC area, you will find others facing the same as you and your DH. You will get heaps of support, advice and shared experience. The 2ww Group is a life saver during the dreaded 2 week-wait after your transfer when you are waiting for your results. I wish you and your DH all the best, and I hope that 2013 is the year for you!
