Hi
Can anyone recommend a tried and tested iPad case to protect the iPad from kids? I bought my boys an Otterbox case each and they're pretty terrible. I have heard the Griffin Defender case is good and still makes using the iPad pretty easy....does anyone have one? Or can you point me in the direction of something else to do the job? Thanks. |

I've got the griffin tech defender case and its been pretty bomb proof for our iPad. (I've also got one on my phone). Check out their website videos if you need convincing!

We have a griffin survivor case on dd's iPod, and it has saved us many times already. I wouldn't hesitate to get one for my iPad if I was planning on sharing it with the kids

We have a gumdrop one. The iPad has survived over a year with rough treatment from small children.
I need to replace the screen cover part because it has scratched. If I take the cover off though the iPad looks brand new. Eta - I don't think it's actually liquid proof but its survived having water tipped over it etc as well as drops to the floor, being sat on and so on. The survivor case for our iPod was $40 at the apple shop, if that helps. That case already has a plastic cover over the screen, but if you want an additional screen protector, I bought a fingerprint resistant one for my iPad at Harvey Norman, and it is great.
ETA - sometimes the eBay screen protectors can be hard to apply without bubbles, so make sure you get at least a 3 pack. This post has been edited by Schnitzelvonkrumb: 31/12/2012, 08:46 AM |
