So would the births, deaths & marriages office frown at me if I divorced my DH and married by Roomba? I am so so in love
Although to give him his credit, DH bought it for me for Christmas, and I hinted about one in the Big W catalogue, but he went to Harvey Norman and bought me the top of the range Roomba 780. Bless him Anyways, this is a magical robot and I love it to pieces! I am a bit of a clean freak, with no children (yet) but the Roomba has picked up fluff and dirt from under things I didn't know you could get to! Plus it is doing the most amazing job of our bedroom floor. It has PITA new carpet. It is short pile but sort of 'sticks' when you vacuum it. In the 3 times I've run the Roomba in there it has filled the hopper 4 times And with 2 inside dogs it is great to run it over the hard floors daily and have them sparkling clean all the time This is a magical, magical robot! I love it! The only issue I've had so far is that it doesn't save me much time because I follow it around adoringly watching it work away! |

People give me a look when I talk about Roomba - one of those "Really, you can't even be bothered to vacuum?" looks. But Roomba vacuums every day while I am out doing something else. How is that not a good thing????
OP, keep your DH and work on getting Scooba for mopping. Then all of your floor-cleaning needs will be met. |

What happens if there is toys or something on the floor - does it suck those up? Like bits of lego and things? Does it hit things like socks and try to suck them up and get jammed as well?
In other words would I also need to be tidy to make one work? |

I am concerned about the ability to do corners and deep vaccuming, otherwise I would have purchased one straightaway.
