Hi there - just wondering if anyone has stayed here in Noosa - it is getting rave reviews on Trip Advisor.. Is it too far out - we do have a car so Im not sure we would have an issue with it??
Just wondering if anyone has been/seen it?? Cheers Mards |

Nothing in noosa is too far really, but I hate driving on my holiday so I wouldn't stay there. You'd have to drive to get to the beach. I like to stay opposite the river in Noosaville. We stayed at Noosa Village River Resort in September. Loved it. Walk to pub. Walk to shops Pool. River.

You'll have to drive to most places, (very short distances but just too far to walk, esp. in the heat) which normally is no problem but ATM Noosa is a zoo, and trying to get a park is difficult, but doable. They also offer park and ride bus transfer service. Things quieten down after new year. I haven't been in the resort because I live here, but it's reasonably new and I haven't heard anyone complain about it.

Am I the only one who read the heading as Racy Noosa Resort?!
As the pp's said, you probably would need to use your car to get to the beach etc, but if you don't mind that too much then go for it. |

Bikes are the perfect way to get around in Noosa, and the resort is only a short ride to Hastings st, the river, Noosa junction. We often say that April is the best time to visit, warm without being steamy. And if you avoid Easter weekend, not too many crowds.

I haven't stayed in RACV, but have attended a wedding there, and it was gorgeous.
The Islander is also great, it's right on Gympie Terrace, opposite the beautiful river, Pirate Park and close to lots of awesome restaraunts. The bu service is literally on the Islander's doorstep, and free buses can take you into Noosa Heads (Hastings Street). I would definitely stay in Gympie Terrace if I had to choose accomodation.
