We're having a very low key NYE this year and thought it might be nice to do something early on New Year's Day - you know, just to lord it over those who are feeling a bit shabby
I'm thinking maybe a picnic breakfast in the Royal Botanical Gardens or something like that. Is anyone else planning anything nice? |

Ooooh, good idea. Will talk to DH about it I think.
We usually just recover (as in sleep in because we don't drink) and then just hang out at home. But yeah, we could go somewhere for a picnic or something like that. Nothing that requires too much energy as we would be tired after a late night. It would be nice for the girls especially since DH isn't on holidays except for the public holidays. |

We are going to a Classic Car and Hot Rod picnic in the park. We went last year and DH & DS loved it. DD and I will find a tree and lay out a rug, snack and chat/read books etc.
Very relaxing day and everyone is happy lol |

Catching up with a dear friend who had had a terrible pregnancy and now has an utterly delicious and very healthy premmie at home. So, swimming, baby cuddles, a photog session for bubby and brother and parents, kids playing and lots of laughs.
Delightful. |

No doubt putting up with teenage attitude since we are spoiling her NYE by not letting her get drunk.
