We're having a very low key NYE this year and thought it might be nice to do something early on New Year's Day - you know, just to lord it over those who are feeling a bit shabby original.gif

I'm thinking maybe a picnic breakfast in the Royal Botanical Gardens or something like that.

Is anyone else planning anything nice?

I like cats, but I couldn't eat a whole one.
We're thinking of going to the zoo.

Ooooh, good idea. Will talk to DH about it I think. original.gif

We usually just recover (as in sleep in because we don't drink) and then just hang out at home. But yeah, we could go somewhere for a picnic or something like that. Nothing that requires too much energy as we would be tired after a late night. It would be nice for the girls especially since DH isn't on holidays except for the public holidays.

We are going to a Classic Car and Hot Rod picnic in the park. We went last year and DH & DS loved it. DD and I will find a tree and lay out a rug, snack and chat/read books etc.
Very relaxing day and everyone is happy lol

Catching up with a dear friend who had had a terrible pregnancy and now has an utterly delicious and very healthy premmie at home. So, swimming, baby cuddles, a photog session for bubby and brother and parents, kids playing and lots of laughs.
Delightful.

No doubt putting up with teenage attitude since we are spoiling her NYE by not letting her get drunk. rolleyes.gif
