And would it be a bit much with a sibling with another old biblical name (can't get much older than Adam, I guess).

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I love Jonah. I can't use it sadly but it would be top of my list otherwise.

I think it goes fine with Adam. I don't really think of Adam as a biblical name as such (even though it is).

I love it and think it is very much under used. I know a family with a Jonah, Noah and Joshua. I don't think it is too much to use two biblical names, after all there is so very many names in the bible.

A lovely name. I actually prefer a full biblical set of sibling names, to one or two biblical and the rest non biblical.

When I was a child Jonah did tend to mean bad luck, but I don't think this is such a common thing to think these days. I'm just putting it here, as it may be something you like to consider.

IMO Adam and Jonah sound great together.

I love it. I know the sweetest little boy names Jonah. It was on our list for DS but DH wasn't 100% convinced.

Wow! I'm really pleased with the reception so far. I wasn't sure if it was a little bit obscure to be matching with Adam- or is it rising in the ranks along with Noah and Joshua?- or whether it was just too much Bible biggrin.gif

I also love the meaning of both names. Adam means man, red earth. Jonah means peace, dove.

Hmmm.
