What to do with baby things, when finished having babies.

Mum to two boys!! :O
I have soooo many baby clothes and toys and DS3 is 4 months now. I am looking at getting rid of stuff but wondering what to do with it. I'd love to donate the good stuff to someone who would otherwise not be able to give their baby these things. I'd rather not put them in a charity bin. Any suggestions?

give them to your local womens and childrens hostel, alot of single mothers escaping abuse end up there with newborns and need all those things

A local women's refuge may have clients that could use the items. The local multiples association may take donations of clothes, ours does and hold a yearly clothing sale to raise money, some of the items are also given to families in need. My DS daycare collects clothes for needy families.

Another vote for contacting local women's refuges. Women often leave with nothing but the clothes on their back, so any essentials for them and their children are so appreciated.

I will look into it and see if I can find one. If anyone can suggest one in the Sydney area that would be great. I don't know anyone else who's having a baby and all the people in my circles can afford to buy their own IYKWIM?

Are you on Facebook? There are lots of 'Pay It Forward' type sites, ie. groups where people list things that they have to give away, usually broken down into regions (e.g. northern suburbs of Sydney). A quick search on FB should help you find something if you're interested.
