I hear you!
Loving my christmas holiday leave from work, but being 9 weeks pg, I've started wondering how I would have dealt with work anyway! I'm pretty sure I'm sleeping about 10-12 hours a day atm, and just doing nothing for the rest of it.

Its fabulous! original.gif original.gif

I agree with you! After all the Christmas rush it's so nice to be at home doing nothing. As a bonus for me my boss just rang and said I don't have to work tonight so I'm extra happy right now!

I'm looking forward to DH taking the kids camping during the holidays. Days of quiet bliss where I will not have to see or speak to another soul if I so choose.

Today though, we're playing boardgames, programming robots, watching cricket, and the kids randomly break into loud song. Typical day in the BadCat household.

Waved goodbye to eight relatives this morning. They have been with us for five days over Christmas which has been sensational. They live all over NSW so we rarely all get together. My parent's generation are nearly all in their eighties now so it is nice to still see them all still relatively healthy although all of them are getting a bit more frail every time we see them. After they all left I have been watching the cricket, reading some of my Christmas books and doing nine loads of washing!....oh , and STILL eating ham...DH, DD and DS are all asleep.

sanity is over-rated
we went to the shops to exchange a present and for the boys to spend their birthday money...

then i started on the housework... and the boys have just completed an hour of cleaning each because they couldn't stop fighting.

but now i am relaxing on the recliner browsing stuff and about to start reading my book biggrin.gif

I'm jealous! We're almost there. On holidays, nothing to do, ds (4) playing for hours with Christmas presents......me and dh running around after a 2yo tantrumming destructo-bot from 6:30 am until 7:30pm.....only a couple more years...... sad.gif

We are having a quiet day at home too biggrin.gif

I've almost finished a jigsaw puzzle I've been working on (photo), and DS has been drawing and watching movies.

After the busyness of the last few days it's heaven biggrin.gif

Agree! DH is back at work today. We've been setting presents up and cleaning away the boxes that accumulate! I've been happily trying all the new perfumes I've gotten from people!
