Hello

I'm new to EB but not to parenting/baby forums and would love to meet some parents and parents-to-be to share stories and experiences.

I am Mum to a beautiful girl who is 20 months old and my hubby and I are currently trying for our second child.

My birth experience was not quite as expected, but it usually isn't! Our daughter was born healthy and happy at 36 weeks, due to me having pre-eclampsia, and aside from spending some extra time in hospital till feeding was under control, she had a great transition from hospital to home.

I have loved every stage of her development but now that she is starting to talk and copy everything that we do, it has become extremely fun and very interesting!

I'm looking forward to meeting other mums and dads with similar or completely different experiences (I'm not fussy biggrin.gif ) and chatting about our lives.

Cheers
Sherry

Hi original.gif

Welcome to Essential Baby.

If you need general information to get to know the site feel free to check out the Site Information for more details on things such as:

* Abbreviations (I would print a copy out)
* Teach you how to make a signature
* Directs you to areas of specific interest to you via a few
questions including the Trying to Conceive where you can meet
other members who are on the same journey as you are. Have a look at the TTC Buddy Group and say hi as it is a really good place to make new friends to share the journey with.

We also have a Parents Group section where you can chat to other members whose child was born the same month/year as yours. They can be found here

All the best of wishes for your TTC journey and please let me know if I can assist you with anything on the site.

Regards

Ali
