I got one from Secret Santa and am just getting into it. Any hot tips?

I'm just setting up my profile and linking it to my iPad.

Hope it makes me move a bit more...

I got one in October. I love it and it encourages me to be more active. I regularly walk to the shops instead of taking the car and I bought a granny trolley that I take with me. I like the weekly progress report you get. It tells you things like:

TOTAL STEPS
99,855
DAILY AVERAGE
14,265 steps
BEST DAY
17,977 steps
TOTAL DISTANCE
71.50 km
DAILY AVERAGE
10.21 km
BEST DAY
13.02 km
TOTAL CALS BURNED
15,234
DAILY AVERAGE
2,176 cals
BEST DAY
2,395 cals

This was last week. I was so disappointed to miss 100 000 steps by 145 steps.

I've had mine since March and its help me loose 14kg!

I got the Aria scales for Christmas.

Love looking at all the stats and graphs and found it keeps me motivated.

Are they available in shops? I have the discount code for online but I was hoping to find them in Target because I have a gift card for there.

I think you can only buy them in store at Harvey Norman Lasoo - FitBit.

Ignorance is not a point of view.
Great to see people like them. I have been thinking about getting one for DH for his birthday in a few weeks.

Those that have them - I got one in October but started to get all confused with what i was logging for other exercise etc.

For example if I was working out in the gym and have my heart rate monitor on do I take the fitbit off and just record the calories off my heart rate monitor?

I like that it tracks steps distance etc but I also like using my heart rate monitor so not sure to use one, both or a combination.

Does this make sense to anyone else??

I got one! I would love to have some Aussie friends though, I think most of mine are all American. I have the Fitbit One and it's brilliant, though really easy to misplace!
