Jewerly Box/Jewerly Storage

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I was lucky enough to receive some jewerly for Christmas, which adds to the large collection I have of everyday and special jewerly. How do you store your jewerly? I currently have a jewerly box and those jewerly stands which isn't enough Do you hang necklaces? Have special storage for watches? What about earings? After some ideas and with the sales on might be able to pick up a bargain Thanks

decent jewellery box (or 2). i hate stands and hanging necklaces really is a waste of time if you're like me and have lots of differing lengths. just lay things gently in boxes and try not to move them too much so they don't tangle. Watches get chucked in a drawer (in saying that i don't own any great watches, most are only cheapies)

I have one of those fishing tackle boxes with the tray of compartments at the top. Helps to keep everything in its place.

I know it's daggy as hell but I got one of those full length mirror stands with the jewellery storage inside. I LOVE it. I have load of necklaces and earings and I can store all of it neatly. Plus rings and other bits and bobs. I needed a mirror in my bedroom so it was a plus regardles of looks!

My daughter bought one of these, to keep her 4 year old DD out of her jewellery, and you can lock it!

My earrings are all mixed in together in a nice decorated ceramic box. Bracelets are in a wooden box DH made for me and necklaces in a lacquer box. Sadly the last two boxes really do not do the job well, despite looking good. I'm beginning to think bracelets on a kitchen towel holder would work better, but it would look rubbish!
