It has been really dark here all day, thunder, lightning , torrential rain.

Of course, I had been told by numerous people it was going to be 40 plus degrees, and the be perfectly honest, I am glad I haven't had to listen to those same people complain all day about the heat biggrin.gif .

Rain, rain and more rain.

Sydney here.

Such a change from the last few days where it has been hot and sunny.

Oh BadCat, I want to be wherever you are. I crave a decent cold (preferably with snow, but will take any alternative that is at a reasonable temperature e.g. 18 or under) Christmas.

Enjoy, and Merry Christmas. original.gif

I confess I'd much rather 16 than 40. I don't function in 40 degree weather.

About 2 or 3 degrees warmer would be nice though. Lucky we didn't have any outdoor plans today.

It's been a lovely christmas day whatever the weather. original.gif

I'm from the UK and all my family are there. The weather has made me feel mighty homesick today.
When it's 30+ degrees on Christmas Day, homesickness doesn't affect me so much.

Don't crowd Sir Walter, Edmund.
We had about 20 and it was perfect, I wouldn't have wanted it to be any hotter.

If I had the choice between 16 and 40, I'd be picking 16, who wants to eat Christmas pudding in the heat?

It's a pleasant 28C in Brisbane with low (for us) humidity in the 50% range. We need fans on but we don't immediately start melting and sweating if we move away from the fans. It was predicted to be 39C at my parents' place but it has been about 33C so I'm guessing that Mum and Dad have been very happy about that.

I can't imagine a 16C Christmas. I'm much more used to 35 to 40C, and sweating everywhere. At least Mum and Dad have air conditioning now.
