We're having a small Christmas. It's just DH, three of our four children (as my sister talked my 20 year old into staying at home rant.gif ) and I in a tent in the pouring rain. We did presents 4 nights ago. It definitely doesn't feel like Christmas day cry1.gif

Here! Just DP, me, 1 month old DD and puss. We banned the travelling sideshow of us travelling with relatives this year, used DD's imminent arrival as an excuse.

Slow cooked pork belly got put in the oven this morning, seafood is in the fridge; the world is a great place.

Kid woke up and hooked into his pressies at 6.30, I went back to bed until 9. He has eaten nothing but cr@p all day and I don't care - I made a token protest and he reminded me it is Christmas.

At 2pm he is off to his paternal grandparents for a big family do and won't be back until 2pm tomorrow. The dogs, cat and I are going back to bed with my new book and a DVD as soon as he leaves. . probably a frosty drink or two and that is Christmas done!

We had visitors this morning but now its just us at home. The roast is on and the kids are happily playing with their new toys. I LOVE small, low key Christmases. Next year Im hoping to hide holiday up North so it will be even smaller!
