Christmas Eve dessert, Any recipe ideas?

Hi Ladies, We're going to my brother's for Christmas Eve dinner tomorrow and we've been asked to bring dessert. I'm absolutely stuck on what to bring, does anyone have any ideas? I'm a reasonable cook (though my oven is pretty crap). I'm terrible with pastry (so that's out), and it will need to feed 8-10 people. Sorry, not sure what they're doing for dinner in case anyone wondered. Does any one know any recipes that are not too complicated and don't need doing overnight? TIA!!

Buy a pav and loads of beautiflu berries. You could try a cheesecake that doesnt need cooking?

I did pavlova for our christmas do yesterday, it was a hit. Stuck whipped cream and a mix of fresh berries all over it(even got some red currants!) with some passion fruit as well.

Con Sprezzatura.
I'm doing dessert for Christmas day. I plan to cheat and buy a huge stack of profiteroles, and serve them with a selection of lovingly made sauces. I think three should do....chocolate, cherry, and honey & rosewater are what I have in mind.

If its a nighttime do what about one of those chocolate ripple cakes? Can fancy it up and do the espresso one?
