Cider time!

So did everyone survive doomsday?

I am 90% through my christmas baking, just meringues to do tomorrow. Feet are killing me, the kitchen is covered in flour and icing sugar, and I think I've put on about three kilos just looking at all the deliciousness I made today. Awesomely DH is the cleaner upperer so he's doing that now while I'm drinking cider and waiting for dinner to arrive. And the house smells like Christmas original.gif

How's everyone's day been?

DP decided we should meet his brother at Pitt Street Mall (the busiest shopping center in Sydney) the only good side was that a friend who just moved back from overseas us working in one of the shops there so she got to meet my son for the first time.

That and DP bought me a Lisa Ho necklace from another friends store.

21-12-2012 is a significant date because Gangnam Style became the first video on youtube to get 1 billion views (total population of earth is 7 billion). It's truely symbolic of a new era in which people from all around the world have been united through the mechanisms of the internet.

Con Sprezzatura.
I survived! I even survived having my ear unblocked (although now it hurts).

There's lots to do but DH has a friend here and it's kind of cramping my style. Sigh.

I don't even have anything fizzy to drink. I'm even out of milk. I may have to resort to... oh, the horror.... WATER!
