ok, I admit I don't have a TV so I clearly don't keep up with stuff shown on the telly, compounded by the fact that I'm overseas so therefore I am very sheltered tongue.gif

BUT..... I kept seeing articles relating to the Chanel ad with Brad Pitt and curiosity finally got the better of me so I viewed the video.....

and nearly wet myself laughing laugh.gif I cannot believe how pretentious he is in that ad. I just thought he looked and sounded really, REALLY stoopid. If I was him, I would have shot the script writer!

probably doesn't help that I've never found him remotely attractive etc

*disclaimer* I don't follow the celeb stuff so I really don't care about him, his lifestyle choices etc. Just found how he portrayed himself to be really pretentious, I really did

now off to do some real work.... isn't there a thread that I'm due to kill?

OP you are not the only one who has complained to me lately about the Brad Pitt Chanel ad, it appears quite a few of my friends find him strange/creepy/unsexy/idiotic.

For me the stoopidest ad at the moment is that Pepsi Next ad where the baby is doing tricks in the background while the parents (American rolleyes.gif ) are too busy saying the drink is the best thing they've ever seen. Not only is it a dumb ad, but it irks me that we are showing an American ad on our Australian tv, why is this even necessary.

Boost juice just emailed me one to tell them if I had seen it on TV yet... it was odd - and possibly a sexual harassment case waiting to happen...

The fembos go so overboard.
I love it, and I was never even a Brad fan.

I actually really like the idea of an ad appealing to a woman's dreams, instead of her insecurities.

Chanel No 5 is my signature scent, but that ad makes me giggle.

I actually really like the current Dior ad, I've stopped and watched it every time it's come on.

The one with Alexander Skarsguard (sp?) is HOT.
