Hi All,

Just after some advice from those of you who have used both a Baby Bjorn and the active model. I loved my Bjorn with my first, both forward and rear facing, it used it all the time for walks, shopping etc, but found as my girl got bigger it was not kind to my back! Is the active a significant enough improvement to make it worth while buying one for number 2? I imagine with a 27 month age gap I'll use it even more this time, as life will revolve around my very active toddler!

I would recommend something like an Ergo or Manduca over a Bjorn style carrier. They are nice and supportive for both wearer and baby and can be used on much larger babies/children. They are usually less expensive too.

Ergo here too. I find it very kind on my back.

I have a bjorn miracle that is already no good with a 6 mo, because he's too heavy for my back! I would use the regular until he/she gets too heavy, then maybe invest in a different carrier for bigger people
