Just got word of what's on the menu for Christmas day.
Pan fried scallops, prawns, oysters, calamari, flathead tails, smoked salmon on toast. I am 30 weeks pregnant. Is there anything here I can eat? All bought fresh from the market. I am going to be one hungry girl at the end of the day. Maybe have to make up for it in dessert |

I'd probably suggest avoiding the oysters if they are served natural, and perhaps the smoked salmon, but if everything else is going to be thoroughly cooked and handled with appropriate hygiene by the cook, then I don't see why it would be an issue, sounds like a lovely menu!

Why don't you take a main dish that you are comfortable eating as well? Just to be sure?...

Give the smoked salmon and oysters a miss.
The rest, get in once they are cooked, make sure they are cooked well and enjoy. Pass on the left overs that have been sitting around all day. Home made salads-fine too, but eat them fresh. Pass on the sprouts and deli meats and antipasto. Antipasto from a jar is ok. Make sure hot food is hot and cold food is cold. |

You should be able to eat the Pan fried scallops, prawns, calamari and flathead tails if they are all served freshly cooked and hot.
