Give me my coffee and no one gets hurt!!!
So we're getting a replacement fridge today as our other fridge died. I have crap(mostly alchohol original.gif) all over the counter, two eskies on the floor in the kitchen, and a couple of breakfast dishes in the sink.

Kids only finished school yesterday, so the rest of the house still looks reasonably good.

As DH left today he said 'should we tidy up before the delivery guy comes?' My response was "why? I don't care what some random delivery guy thinks of my house keeping standards. Do you?"

So my EB friends. Do you or do you not care about the state of your home for deliveries or tradies.

Obviously I'm now bored waiting for the delivery!!

Nope we don't clean before tradies/deliveries unless it's to clean an access path to where they will be moving things/working.

Yeah no lol.

I got a new oven delivered and installed a couple of weeks ago and my kitchen was pretty much how you described yours.

I was going to madly tidy the kitchen but in the end I decided it is a "working kitchen" and the random crap stayed where it was.

It was not dirty, just had stuff on benches where I had been sorting out the pantry and things.

So no - I'm sure random delivery guys have seen much worse than your and my random stuff on the bench!

I also make the bed in hotel rooms and hang up my used towels, even though I know they will get washed.
