Blake Jackson

Does either name as a first name go better with the surname? If you like them equally that might help with making the decision.

We have a very uncommon surname which goes with both Blake and Jackson. Husband prefers Jackson and I prefer Blake so we can't decide.

Of the 2 names I much prefer Blake - however Jackson Blake seems to go better than Blake Jackson - I think because the 'son' breaks up the double k sound whereas Blake Jackson has the k sound running together in the middle,

Not sure if that makes sense - I know what I mean tongue.gif

I love the name Blake, and it seems less common than Jackson.

I agree with PP, Jackson Blake runs smoother together, that said I love Blake, but Blake Jackson doesn't roll as well. Jackson is a lovely name also though.

It makes perfect sense to me and I agree with you original.gif Prefer Blake over Jackson by a long mile but in that combination Jackson Blake sounds better.
