I wonder if my mum would like one. I'm a bit hesitant as the reviews aren't great!

We have this machine, and just bought a 2nd one seeing as they were so cheap. I've been very impressed with it. It makes a decently hot cup of coffee, which a lot of pod machines seem to have trouble delivering. It takes Map pods, woolworths pods and also Gloria Jeans. We've been using the Woolworths ones and are happy with the quality of the coffee. I have read that the Aldi pods aren't compatible due to the lack of a filter in the pods, which can make for a very grainy cup of coffee. We don't have Aldi in Adelaide, so I can't test this for myself.

The only thing we don't like about it is that we have nice big coffee mugs and we've had to remove the metal drain grate so that we can fit a mug under the outlet. No biggie though, as there is still a catchment area for drips, which we just give a wipe now and again.

The water tank is easy to fill, unlike some machines and holds a decent amount of water.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending this machine to anyone, and have been spreading the word as much as I can.
