Best place to hide presents?, Sort of a spin off

Where do you hide presents for birthdays, Christmas etc? I have hidden them in suitcases this year, but I am always looking for new ideas.

What fresh hell is this?
I laybyed an item this year for the first time ever because we were moving house and I was terrified that DD would spot the item in the chaos. Other than that, hidden under the flannelette sheets on the top shelf of the linen press is always a good one.

We used to stay at home but now we have a social life ..
I've always gone for suitcases before, but now DS is older, and our new house has fewer hidey spots (mainly because of my major de-cluttering), I've stashed them in the neighbour's garage There was only one year when I was a kid that I found Christmas presents, it was actually the worst Christmas ever because I didn't have any surprises So I don't want DS to find any.

The trampoline is in the workshop. The other things are in my boot! I only started shopping this week so never bought them in!

We have one of those attic storage rooms in the roof so, while DD is still too little to get up there, that's where they go. And I stash presents at my house for a friend down the road whose kids are older and might be inclined to snoop. And one of DH's presents is large and I had nowhere to hide it here so it's at my Mum's house. "Offsite" is genius I think!

In my laundry cupboards. Kids never go near the laundry.

Rather inclined to giggle. Doesn't put things away.
Suitcases here too, up high in our walk in robe. It would be impossible for DDs to get them down.

Top of my walk in behind my clothes..... but if my daughter is anything like me I will have to be super creative in a couple of years as I was pretty good at finding Mum's hiding places!!
