Hi,
Hopeing someone can shed some light on this for me.
I've lost my appetite, for anything other than salad, I can't stand the taste of alcohol, and Im sooooo tired.
So, I did what anyone who has been pregnant before would do.....I peed on a stick biggrin.gif
Negative.
I finish my period 5 days ago??? Now...is it possible I'm pregnant, but just too early to show ( on HPT)????
I should say, with our first I conceived on the pill ( during antibiotics) and still got my period for the first 2 months.
We haven't been TTC, but......not to say we would not be happy!
So, after all that......what do you, oh learned ladies ( and men) of EB think? original.gif

If you've had sex in the last five days then yes, you could be pregnant. It all depends on your cycle and whether you may have ovulated earlier than you normally would.

if it's only been 5 days since your last period then no not from that cycle but that doesn't mean you aren't from a pervious cycle, it might be an idea to go to the doctors and get some blood tests coz it would be showing up by now if it was from a pervious cycle, good luck

How long is your cycle? If it 28 dys and your menses lasts for 5 dys and stopped 5 dys ago you would therefore be on CD 10. Normal ovulation on a 28dy cycle would be around 14dys.

So in my non-expert opinion - No you are not pregnant and nor are you showing pregnancy symptoms.

Op are you on the pill at the moment?

Pill periods are not real periods.

They are simply break through bleeds.

Go to the gp anyway.

Even if your not pregnant you should investigate your lack of appetite and tiredness.

You might be low in b12 or iron.

or Fembo maybe...
Can a pee stick be negative that far into a period? i.e. if she's not pregnant from this cycle but the last one? Not knowledgeable but I'd have thought by that point it would be positive?

Its possible for a test to show negative from a previous cycle. Its also very possible to have what looks like periods right through pregnancy.

I know someone who found a test in her cupboard and decided to test just for fun. She was so far pregnant that she was showing and it was negative.

And I had bleeding through both my pregnancies.
