Hello all

we are having baby number three in late January and cannot agree om names. we have an Isabella and an Oliver already. I like Edith or angus. think i like names starting with vowels. my husband likes Joseph for a boy. I don't mind this but do like others more. any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you

Love Joseph- that's our son's name.

Also like Angus too.

Not too keen on Edith.

How about Esther or Anna ?
Also love Claire, and Ruth.

Isabella's middle name is Claire! I love it too. i like the nickname Edie for Edith. also like Elke and have considered Esther which is pretty! Names hard decisions though!

I like vowels too. Here are some favourites of mine.

Esther
Opal

Joseph isn't bad, but I don't like it as much as Joel or Josiah for reasons I can't really explain. I'd probably keep it on hand as a tasteful middle name though for a vowel-ier first name. original.gif

Eden? Edith should stay in the 19th century. It's very old ladyish and not in a good way.
Erin? Elke is nice, kind of strong but pretty.

I love Edith, and think Edith Josephine would be a lovely combo. I also really like Elke - I think it's different, but most people have heard of it at the same time.

Joseph is OK - not one of my favourites.
