I ordered something on 30/11 and got an email on the 3/12 saying it had been shipped. It's for DD's birthday on Friday so thought I had done OK for time, but maybe not!

The site seemed actually quite dodgy, right down to the free international shipping, but it was only $15 and I paid with paypal so I could dispute if it didn't turn up.

How much longer should I wait do you think?

Ah really? Bugger, I thought it'd be a bit quicker than that. I've had things from the US only take a week!

Yeah, it seems weird to me too, but I think with free shipping you sometimes get what you pay for IYKWIM? If it makes your feel any better I am currently disputing a $190 payment to a dodgy website, when I should have known better sad.gif

We buy things from a similar site - shipping is via Hong Kong post office - it takes a long time, around 6 weeks?

I get a heap of stuff from HK and it normally takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks. Being this time of year I'd expect it to take around 4 weeks.

Loads of places in HK and China offer free shipping because it's really cheap postage but the downfall is the time taken for it to arrive. Saying that though I don't think 3 weeks from HK to Aus is too bad when it can take a week + to post something from West to East and it's bloody expensive and even then really unreliable.

I ordered something from Hong Kong and it took about 4 weeks. Nothing much just a phone cover.

A dress I ordered for DD from the US took 5 dys. Hong Kong shipping is sh*t.
