I've decided that for the kids that will be at our house for NYE I'm going to give them paint and brushes and have them paint a massive wall in my garden with whatever takes their fancy. unsure.gif

I hope it's not too ugly because it's about 4 metres high and 6 metres wide.

Anyway, the question now is where I am going to get paint that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

Suggestions anyone?

I'd try your local bunnings or similar and see if they have any sample pots that have already been made up.

I have managed to get some great paint really cheap that way. Otherwise you could request sample pots in your colours since I gather it will need to be outdoor paints.

You can have any of the gazillion tins of paint left in our shed when we moved into this house...

Mis-tints and unwanted sample pots at Bunnings or another hardware store.

You are very brave! Remember, we will need pictures once they have painted it.

Dont forget to check that you are using all was out in water acrylics.

Also put the word out for neighbours and friends that might have different colours sitting around at home.

I would also suggest using primary colours and tinting them with poster paint - cheap from the $2 shops.

One last thing. You might want to consider sealing it if they do a good enough job.
