Hi!I've had some issues with recurring mastitis. I've visited the LC at Hornsby Hospital (who was great). She thinks that a stubborn milk blister may be the cause. I attempted to break the blister as she'd shown me, but it only ended up bloody and sore.I'm hoping to find a private lactation consultant in the north shore, who could visit me at home to help with this (and possibly break the blister). I've found a few names online, but would prefer to go off a recommendation. Can you recommend any lactation consultants in this area? Thanks in advance!

Could you give your doctor a go at it. Many mums who cannot do it themselves, go to the doctor.

My LC is fantastic, but she's inner west. I agree with PP though, I'd go to the GP. If your GP is a bit hopeless/useless on the breastfeeding front, maybe ring a few practices and see if you can find someone who's pro-breastfeeding?
