Big issue of the day.

We have a couple in their early 20s housesitting for us over Christmas/New Year. They currently live in a share apartment with 3 others so I would expect they will bonk like rabbits when they are at our place.

I want to put them in our bedroom. It is the nicest room, has an ensuite and is the only airconditoned room and our bed is comfy. I don't care about the bonking as I see it like any hotel bed.

DH wants them to go to the guest room which is nice enough, but the bed is a bit small and it does not have aircond or en suite. The idea of them having sex in our marital bed freaks DH out as apparently " it is a special place where our children were conceived".

I think he is being a dramatic prude but I don't want him to have pyschological issues with our marital bed.

Any genius solutions?

Could you move the spare bed into your room?

That way they have all the amenities and your bed won't be violated wink.gif

They will probably do it on the couch and kitchen table too.

Luckily, DH and I are on the same page about this. Our bedroom is special and no, house guests will not be welcome to use our room. Even now where it isn't that flash, it's still our room.

He will know! We will fly out early so he will see me making up our bed.

Would putting an extra mattress protector on the bed help out your DH or is this a psychological hurdle he will struggle with for all eternity? Tounge1.gif
