I am in need of some good AFFORDABLE containers for storing sugar, flour, etc.

I cannot afford Tupperware just at the moment.

Any suggestions and if so, what is the best shop to purchase them from

Thanks in advance cool.gif

I like the Sistema ones with the blue clips, keeps everything fresh. Can get them at Coles, Big W etc, and I've often seen the multi packs of them on sale.

I got all mine from the Op Shop - 'Tupperware' brand. The one by us has bits and pieces all the time.

I really like the sistema klip it containers, they seem to seal quite well and you can get them from lots of places like kmart, woolies and coles, and they go on special pretty often too.

We use the klip it ones. They have a vacuum seal on them, so keep the pantry moths away.

They are really cheap, are often half price in Coles, Woolies or KMart. Big W have them too, but never seem to be on sale there.

They stack fantastically in the pantry too.

Snap! They seem to be popular!

Another one who uses the sistema.

I usually buy at Woolworths or K-mart when they are on sale.

I use them for breakfast cereals too.

We had a bad situation last year with mice and basically my whole pantry is now sistema containers of one kind or another.

Keeps food fresh and the bugs and vermin out!

Another vote for Sistema.

TBH, we could probably afford Tupperware but I prefer being able to buy more containers without the faff of Tupperware (sorry T-ware girls!). Also, because they're so affordable, I can have extras without feeling guilty about the amount of money I've sunk into un-used storage.

I've got the systema ones. They're good. Just wait till they are on sale. They are regularly half price at Cole/kmart etc etc.
