On of the joys of pregnancy is Morning Sickness. All day sickness more like it for me really from 6-23 weeks with both sons. Well I have hit the 6 weeks mark and was feeling okay, just a little nausea but this morning I feel like I have been ran over by a truck, I feel so sick, have not been sick yet but to be honest I think sick.gif I will be sick sad.gif .

So any tips to stop it. I have so many things I have to do in a day with 2 toddlers and don't have time to feel sick.

I am also overly emotional this morning too, crying just sitting here, for no reason. cry1.gif

Hit me a couple of days ago too.bam all day/night wanna spew nothing stops it sickness. Sometimes I wonder if actually being sick helps.

I find it worse at work as I'm sitting down all day.

I'm just trying to eat on a regular basis and pretty plain foods. Oh and fruit tingles.

I swore by ginger teddy bear jubes when I was pregnant with DD2.

With DD1 I had to eat small, regular meals. And eat as soon as I woke up! If my blood sugar dropped, I would feel dreadful. Find some low GI foods as they will help regulate your blood sugar.

I too have been struggling bit time, today seems a bit better though, don't know why. I have found fruit is helping me and ice blocks. Also chewing gum, but i did read somewhere that you shouldn't chew gum when pregnant when I was pregnant with my DS but I can't find it now.

tess840, you poor thing for it to have started at 4 weeks. Mine as at 6 weeks and last time went till 16 weeks. Hopefully that means it will finish early for you. I also find if I am more tired I fell worst. Plus I am eating everymorning before I get out of bed. That really helps....

Re: chewing gum. Maybe it's to do with artificial sweeteners? I remember being told at my ante natal class waaaaaay back in 2006 to minimise exposure to artificial sweeteners. Also chewing gum can increase reflux.

Last time I took Maxalon which helped. This time (so far anyway) when I feel yuck I find a glass of cold water helps.
Good luck.

I'm struggling too, and feeling bad I'm so wiped and nauseous when I'm trying to play with my 14 month old DS. Min hit at about 6.5 weeks, same as last time. So if it goes the same way, I have about 10 more weeks of this to look forward to. I have some maxalon, but I also find fizzy water and really simple savoury or slightly salty foods (white bread, thinly spread vegemite, Saos, cruskets) work a little too. Fresh cold fruit can be a godsend too.

I'm really struggling, I started off only having a bit of ms in the morning, now....it feels like its all day and very unpridictable. I feel sick most of the day, eating small meals during the day is not helping. I'm worried about how I'm going to get through Christmas. We have told both mothers, but don't plan to tell the rest of the family until we get to the 12 weeks due to my history of miscarriage. Anyone got any ideas to curb the ms?

I am now almost nine weeks - and amazingly it is going really quickly... But this morning sickness is relentless!!... I've had maxalon and it didn't work... Has anyone else been prescribed any other medication that have given them some relief?... Seriously hoping this phase finishes up in 3 weeks!! Tried EVERYTHING else google has advised - small meals, ginger, seabands - everything... Help!!
