Wondering if anyone can help me?

I love the look of the Lalaloopsy dolls but I'm wondering if they are for playing with or sitting on a shelf?

I think DD is old enough and she loves imaginative play. Do they get a workout in your house? Any bad points?

Thanks

We have the large ones and the mini ones. The small ones get used so much more by my 4 & 5 year olds. They are just the right size to hold in their hands and they also fit in all their dollhouses & on the doll furniture. They know all the names of the different ones.

Agree, we have both sizes and the mini ones are played with constantly by my almost 4 year old. She loves them (and I think they are really cute).

Thanks very much for your replies-especially about the sizes.

I have big and small in my amazon cart and just kept being drawn back to the little ones.

I hadn't thought about the dollhouse- just what her little hands would manage best.

My daughter loves dollhouses, she often uses a Sullvanian family dollhouse for her lalaloopsy mini dolls.

Also, at kmart I got this set for $30 about a month ago (which is cheaper than the cost in the US) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12894162

Yes we just pick up the minis on special from here ever (even Coles has them) And we also use the Sylvanian family furniture and house for the Lalaloopsy dolls - perfect size. Infact the Lalaoopsy dolls seem to be used with just about all the toys lol...I find them all over the house in strange places!

My DD 4 has the small and mini ones she loves them. I have brought a large one for her that she is getting at Christmas. In k-mart they had a tree house type thing with 1 or 2 mini dolls for $30.
