I am looking to move to Perth early next year and need some recomendations on OB's in Perth & hospitals. I have heard St John of God in subiaco is nice but open to other suggestions. I had my first child at a private hospital in Melbourne & OB fees were around $2500 so looking for a similar fee this time.
Please PM me your suggestions...thanks a lot |

Hi monkeynat, I've had two babies at SJOG Subiaco and am pg with #3 who will also be delivered there. I've had two natural births with no pain medication and have nothing but absolute glowing reports about my OB. PM me if you'd like to chat. I paid around $3000 for his pg management fee (you get $400 back from medicare), plus scans and a few other things (blood tests etc.). My entire stay in hospital and the delivery was paid by HBF private insurance, the only other out of pocket expense was the routine paediatrician check.
The only thing is, you need to book in ASAP to get into any OB's at this hospital. I know because my sister rang every.single.OB. that delivers at SJOG Subi when she was 7 weeks and could only get into one. Luckily after a dating scan her dates changed to the next month so she then got into to the same one as me. Good luck! This post has been edited by elle-M: 16/12/2012, 02:54 PM |
