We currently have our 6wo in a capsule and will need start thinking about upgrading her to a RF seat soon.

We were thinking about perhaps upgrading our toddlers seat instead to a booster and giving the baby the convertible (sns meridian AHR or hipod Milan depending on which is in the car at the time).

I was thinking a maxi rider? What would you ladies suggest. She's quite tall so I want something with high markers because we'd like it to last as long as possible obviously original.gif

I just bought DD the Babylove Ezy Combo. It's supposed to fit them up until they are 8 years old. I got it on special for $192.00 and it rates really well on CREP.

DD is currently in the Hipod Milan but like you that is what DS will be going into when he is too big for the capsule.

We will be getting the baby love ezy for our two year old.
Chose it cause it has the highest CREP rating and lowest price.

TBH personally I don't like convertible boosters for kids under 2-3yrs if age as I find they are too upright and my kids heads slump forwards out of the protection of the seats when sleeping.

My 114cm 5.5 yo fits in the new SNS Compaq. His 117cm older brother does too. Possibly the only convertible booster I would consider is the New MaxiRider T&A.

CREP ratings are totally outdated as they have not tested any 2010 standard seats and the 0-4yrs category are all changed.

Kids actually need o be in a booster longer then 8 yrs so you will still need to buy a booster in he future. Also most convertible booster seats are not as easy as a dedicated booster to use in booster mode too. Buy what you need for now as who knows what safety advancements are coming. They are already updating the 2010 standard to include ISOFziX and seats with 5 pt harness to 8 yrs.
