My DS1 has a personalised backpack from tinyme.com.au (previously mooo.com.au). He has the medium size for daycare, and I will probably get him a large one when he goes to school.
I know a lot of people are against having kids names written on their things, but you don't have to get their names, you can write whatever you like or nothing at all. The designs are still cute. |

My DDs' bags are from Harlequin. They were bought through the school, but you can buy directly from them. They are fabulous bags, just your basic school bag, but they are over 2 years old now and they seriously look as good as the day I got them. I am sure they will last both my girls for the whole of primary school. They were about $50 each I think from memory?

I always go with the surf brand bags, they have a great warranty on zips (never had one fail though) and they are good, strong quality. Plus they often have a waterproof section which is handy. My DD gets 2 years out of her Billabong backpacks and then we give them to the op shop as they are still fine! You can get some pretty colours too.

My son has a Hurley bag purchased from a surf shop and it has lasted really well especially considering he is pretty rough with it.

We are also going to Harlequin in Sydney as they have backpacks that are very light weight.
