So i think we have come to a compromise and looks like a girl will probably be Indie/Indy/Indi

I'm sure many of you want me to use a longer name and use Indie as NN but that is NMS
Our son is simply Nate we didn't want it longer when all we would call him was Nate

The same goes with us using the above....

My question is if it is going to be DD2 real name and not a NN what spelling would you go with?

Middle name will probably be Belle or Rae

I know a little girl called Indie, spelled like the first way you chose original.gif

I don't think it matters, but when I went to make her Christmas present I had to go back and check the spelling, 'cause my instinct was to spell it as Indi, like the river.

I would favour the "keep it simple" option and use Indi.

Going against the PPs, I prefer Indy.

ETA - I do like Nate as a stand alone name, prefer Indy/Indi as a nn. It does look half finished, esp as Indi
