Arghhh! Was trying to be so organised with a busy week coming up so prepared Monday night's meal last night in the slow cooker. Turned it off to cool down at 9.30 and wake up this morning and it's still sitting there! It's veal goulash...if that makes a difference. 1 kg of veal wasted........argh. Have put it in the fridge now but should I just give it to the dog and start again?

Yes, I would bin it, or give it to the dog.

It's not worth the food poisoning risk. Dogs tummies are tougher than ours so would be fine for your dog.

I get that it's frustrating to waste all that time and food, but please don't eat it!

I would put it in the fridge now and then reheat it really well

i would bin it, not worth the risk...i know DH would say reheat it really well but Ill rather not have a house full of upset bellys

We're in Melbourne...wasn't too bad and the windows/sliding door were left open to cool the house down. Lid was left on etc but still tending to throw it out.

Even I would not eat it. I probablly wouldnt give it to the dog either. They also get food poisoning.

My DH would eat it, I'd contemplate it, but no way would my kids be eating it...

I would eat it, I probably wouldnt give it to kids though not that mine would eat it anyway
