Does anyone own a bj city mini and still use their umbrella stroller for the occasional quick trips?? Im just really curious!! )

I really REALLY want a bjcm in purple or green but partner thinks a stroller will do where as i dont drive and am the one using it daily think i have more say (and will be paying for it!)

I only use the bjcm and haven't bothered getting a stroller as I mainly use the bjcm when walking or if we are out for the day. A quick trip means DS will walk or go in a trolley.

When I am walking somewhere I need something sturdier than a stroller, footpaths aren't the best in my area; and when we are out for the day I like that with the bjcm I have great sunshade, ok storage andcan pretty much go anywhere.

I have a BJCM and no I have never considered getting a stroller as well. The BJCM has been used for DS since he was about 12months and has gone on many overseas trips as well - the hood is brilliant! It's light, easy to fold and comfortable.

It is the stroller. They are just so easy to one hand steer to put up and down. They are light. Perfect stroller and pram for me.

I had a brand new Maclaren vogue but that has gathered dust ever since I got my BJ city mini. Although my DH rolled his eyes when I bought it even he agrees it's far more versatile.

I have a BJCM and a stroller but the only reason we have the stroller is because my DH was paranoid it would get lost when we flew interstate and the whole holiday I wished I'd taken the BJCM!

hi,

umbrella stroller is better if you need to catch buses, as they fold up more. otherwise the bjcm is better for everything else and good on trains as easy to use and apply break quickly.

I've had to switch to a stroller for DD who is almost 2. She flat out started to refuse the BJCM and we realised it was because she was sitting a little further back in it. We bought a cheaply Big W stroller out shopping one day and she will at least start the trip in that. Having said that she may be almost 2 but she's small, still fitting 6-12 months dresses from PP so think that is why. I can't wait for this baby to come along so I can start using my mini again!
