Great news. Their choice of name (let alone their policies etc) has always irked me. Such a misleading name.

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
About time. Why would they even call themselves the Australian Vaccination Network when they a so anti vaccination? Bizarre.

I had no idea they were so opposed to vaccination until I went on their FB page when I was seeking some information on vaccinations.

I used to be ambivalent about the AVN and vaccination in general. It was they themselves who turned me, when they advertised "holistic" treatments for cancer and advocated avoiding medical treatment.

Good news, this. They can go fork themselves.

Train your dog, it's worth it!
Sooo....

I read the first letter, which basically said "getting lots of complaints that your name doesn't reflect your activities and is misleading, please give reasons why we shouldn't order you to change it".

I read the second letter, which basically said "youz are all biatches, and we are just poor parents having fun discussing vaccinated related issues and we don't have to change cuz you sez so". Not a single sentence devoted to explaining that the name of the organisation is NOT misleading, as required by the Government.

Third letter, basically says "thanks for that, um, as you didn't explain why you shouldn't have to change your name, we are ordering you to change your name or we'll deregister you, thanx, the Gov'mint." Wtth a lengthy explanation of how to appeal, should they get their sh*t together and come up with a coherent explanation of why their name isn't really misleading and stuff.

Blog sez, "they iz nasty bully boyz who are treating us unfairly because we are all about the vaxinashunz and stuff, and people haz a right to know that you don't need to get vaxxed."
