My dd has smashed the screen on her ipod touch and I have already had one quote of $135, has anyone had it done cheaper? I am in Brisbane.
Also I want to buy her one of those heavy duty plastic cases, does anyone know where I can buy her one? I will also need one for my class next year as well. |

You might be able to get replacement screens on Ebay and do it yourself.
Or if you have markets near by phone market stalls usually do it cheaply |

There is an apple branded case called 'survivor' (I think that's the name), apparently it's the best protective case there is

I got my daughter's iPod Touch replaced by Apple for $109, she had smashed the screen as well. Cheaper than $135 replacement screen.
