I was concerned regarding my daughters speech from the age of 2, she did not have many words and was hard to understand. The speech therapist only became concerned regarding her stutter from the age of 4 after she had had it for about 6 months. My understanding is that a stutter usually irons itself out by around the age of 4. But if you are concerned please see a speech therapist. It is better to address any issues early rather than leaving it.

My DD also had a mild stutter around 2-2.5yrs old. She tended to repeat the first few words of a sentence a few times, like she was thinking of what to say. I have been told it's quite common in toddlers where they think faster than they can talk.
She has just turned 3 and only stutters occasionally now, usually when she is excited or talking very quickly. |

2 of 3 of our boys stuttered slightly at that age. They grew out of it really quickly. Somebody said to me it was normal for that age. It's like they think of things to say but can't get the words out quick enough.
