Hi...I was lucky enough to win 2 x champagne breakfast hot air balloon rides in Canberra that we aren't going to use by their Feb expiry. I'd like to donate them to a charity in Canberra as I'd hate to see them go to waste.

To all the canberrians out there, could you suggest some local charities who may be able to put these tickets to good use?

no idea sorry OP, but i've wondered why places do prizes like this. our school had the same prize on offer as part of the fathers day raffle, and it made me wonder if they would ever get used

ETA-i don't know how useful they'd be with such a short expiry, i really don't know what most charities would be able to do with them unless they were running an auction etc, and the likelihood of that happening over the christmas period is small

How about a carer's group? I am sure Carer's ACT have many deserving families on their books who would love this. It would make a special gift for a couple dealing with chronic or terminal illness.

If you can find any charities about to run events with auctions that would be a great thing to donate & raise some extra money.

I can't think of any though and those sorts of events might be winding up this time of year.

You are lovely!!

life's learnings never stop...
OMG how wonderful!!

yeah, i'd say somewhere like carers, they have a wide consumer base so should be able to find someone to take them (hopefully me haha!)
