Has anyone got a glass kettle? I'm looking at possibly getting the Breville BKE290 kettle, but I'm not sure whether it will start to look dirty as time goes by? Obviously I'd clean it, but does the element start to rust and look bad?
Or, recommend me your cordless kettle  Ta!

I bought the Kmart Homemaker glass kettle with blue LED light inside that turns on and the water glows blue when boiling.
I love it and that's coming from someone who usually spends about $120 on a kettle. |

I have that Breville kettle & have had it for around 6 months. It still looks brand new. I've put a descaler through it once in that time but just wipe it over with a damp cloth otherwise.

We had the Morphy Richards one that glowed blue. It was great but the dodgy Geraldton water killed it after a couple of years while we were over there.

The element is looking a little marked, but I'm sure if I descale it it would be fine. The kids love watching the water turn blue! |
