sanity is over-rated
Today everything is just working for me!

Went and got lunch, gave feedback about one of their sister sites, they gave me part of my lunch for free...

got to work, busy but OMG they finally implimented some of the changes we asked for!

boss lady calls me over - asks if i want to do an earlier shift on friday seeing i am in the office anyway... means early finish!

then the icing on the cake... says that xmas eve should be quite and do i want the day off... if i was working i wouldn't get home til 7/7.30 xmas eve!

Everything is just great today!

Your awesome day sounds good!

Can I share my awesome day?

DS and I both had a day of from the real world, (work and daycare) when on a bus ride, shared morning tea, caught the bus home and have not done much else, awesome day for me after a busy month!

My day didn't start out very awesome (half my house was affected by flooding from last nights storms) but my insurer just rang me back to say they can get an assessor out tomorrow to look at everything - when I rang to claim they said it could be up to 8 working days! Impressed original.gif

If you want to be liked by everyone and hated by no 1, be boring
Glad I wasn't the only one that had and awesome day.

I got a phone call from the school today telling me DS is getting an award at the end of year assembly on Friday.

This is the second year in a row. We are so proud.

I had my first day at a new job and it went really well. I haven't been in regular employment for over six years and someone I met by chance through my kids' swimming lessons has given me an opportunity to get back into paid work. I'm very grateful.
