Hi allI need to update my straw sippy water bottles for my two year old & almost one year old (eventually!)We currently have these munchkin ones

which are great - dishwasher safe, have a valve to prevent leaking and I am mostly happy with them but I was just wondering if anyone had any other recommendations for something nicer
Must have :- a straw that goes all the way to the bottom so you don't have to tip it to drink- be dishwasher safe- a valve so if dropped on its side in the car it doesn't leak

For littlies I've used Mag Mag ones successfully. The straw actually bends inside towards them so that if they do tip it when they hold it it still works. And for older kids I've used Nuby ones. They both have lids that slide over to close so they will close properly if you want to put them in a bag but also have valves.

I bought a $3 woollies one last week , it has a cap that clips over the top, bending the straw over and preventing leaks , the straw is nice and tough and my 1 year old can use it fine , so ive had no complaints about it and for 3 bucks if it buggers up in only a few weeks i still have my moneys worth lol Its leakproofness does depend on the lid being clipped over tho so may not be very good for older kids who cart their drinks about the place but who can't clip the lid themselves yet

I have a Nuby one for my daughter. Her arms are too short to hold a sippy cup to drink out of herself so that gives her some independence. It doesn't leak and straw goes within a few cm of bottom
