Hello all,
I had a D&C 9 weeks ago following a scan at 8 weeks that showed just a sac and no baby. Since then at 4 weeks post the procedure I had brown spotting and really light cramps for a few days but no blood. Then 4 weeks later I had real bad cramps and trapped wind pain and more of the brown blood and discharge.
To say I am panicking is an under statement (the Internet is really bad sad.gif ) I have had blood work done and will go back on Thursday for the results but can anyone offer any advice. I also had PCOS many years ago (10) but have not seen any symptons for years. Just scared it is Ashermans.
Thanks for reading.

I am so sorry that you are in this situation. I have no words of wisdom for you at this time but wanted to wish you luck and hope that all is well and that you are just taking a bit longer to get over things.

I agree with the internet thing. It can be really scary at times....

I am so sorry to hear about your loss OP hhugs.gif I also had a MMC diagnosed at 8 weeks.

I know it's scary and yes Ashermans is a possibility (i know from experience) but keep in mind it can take awhile for things to get back on track. All I can say is trust your instinct - you know your body best.

If you have any questions about AS please don't hesitate to contact me

I am sorry for your loss.

I had a D&C after a MMC @ 12 weeks in June 07, I waited almost 12 weeks until I finally got my period back. I did go and have a quick US with the OBGYN at about 10 weeks and he advised all was looking on track for a period within 10 days or so. He did give me a script for Provera just in case my period did not show up, but fortunately it did.

It's hard waiting for it to return.

I had the same thing and at 7 weeks was put on progesterone tablets to make my periods come back. I took them for 10 days and my period came back 3 days later. I then went in for scans to make sure I ovulated and had a blood test today to confirm it so I would say talk to your doc about that.

it took AGES for my period to return after my D&C, at least 6 months or so. Not pregnant either.

No Ashermans. It was just hormonal, mild PCOS. I was completely terrified and went to a fertility specialist.
