Exactly as per title. Is my body weird? Admittedly DS is still attached to my boobs like a limpet for 90% of the day...... Does this make a difference?

My periods came back within 6 weeks to approximately 4 months after having all my children and they were all demand breastfed.

Have you done a pregnancy test ?

Mine came back the week before DD turned one so 12 months isn't unusual.

With dd1 I got 18 months without it, but with dd2 I got it back straight away after having her. sad.gif The first one is very normal and the second unusual but not a problem.

Possessions are Nine Points of Conversation
Mine came back when DS was 18 months old.

ETA and that was probably only because I went back to work and he started daycare, so we dropped the daytime nap feed. He was (and still is at 26 months!) feeding frequently overnight.

You said no strings could secure you, at the station...
Took 21 months for my period to restart after having DS. We BF to 20 months but the last 3 or 4 months was only one feed a day. In my case there actually was a hormone issue where my body kept producing prolactin even after it was meant to stop.

Both times AF returned about 2 weeks after I completely stopped BFing. This was about 7 months after having DS and about 11 months with DD

With my first my period didn't come back until 6 months, stopped bf at 12months.Currently have a 13week old fully bf baby and it hasn't come back (thank goodness!!).
From discussions in my parents group in a group of 8 women we ranged from 4 weeks post birth to 14 months.
