Hi all, Just updating this thread: Pronouncing Megan Baby was born last Thursday and after much Meg-anning versus Mee-ganning we decided she's more of a Meg But middle names don't seem to flow as well.....it was going to be Meghan Ivy Susan, our surname is also a short one syllable name starting with B. Susan needs to stay as her second middle name, there's also a small chance that she may be Meghan or Margaret on her birth certificate but we'll decide that when her birth certificate is due. Any ideas? Her siblings are Tahlia, Lachlan and Rosie. Thanks lots |

I like Meg Elizabeth as above... I think you need a middle name with lots of syllables to compensate for the short first name and last name.
Other ideas... Meg Annabelle Susan Meg Imogen Susan Meg Eloise Susan Meg Penelope Susan Meg Felicity Susan Meg Isabella Susan Meg Miranda Susan Meg Michaela Susan |

With Meghan / Margaret and a Susan already in the mix, I'd stick to a shorter 'first' middle name.
Personally, I do like the sound of Meghan / Margaret Joy Susan Bxxxx Only problem with this approach is that it does sound a bit gumby when you shorten it to 'Meg'. In this case, I'm putting my eggs in the 'Elizabeth' basket with the other lovely EB ladies. Good luck with it! |

Well congratulations Goldilachs to you and all the family! And I totally love and adore Meg as a stand-alone! Gorgeous, spunky name.
Middles (I think there are lots of possibilities). Would Susannah be a possibility? Otherwise with Susan: Louise Naomi Celestia Magenta Mahalia Marika Marlena Valeska Viviana Zamira Perdita Florentina |
