We are still very very early on, but are starting to think of possible names for our baby due in August 2013. Here is a bit of background...
If the baby is a girl, then the middle name will be Anne (family name). Our surname begins with P, and has a strong 'LL' sound at the end. Due to the '_AP' initials I think that a name that begins with a vowel would work so we avoid initials that spell out words. DP likes the name Bree and Brielle, but I don't like the initials BAP and the strong L sound in brielle would clash with our surname. So far names that I like are: Imogen Isla A/Emelia Open to more suggestions though as DH isn't convinced yet... TIA |

I like Imogen and Amelia but would stay away from an A name if you are going to use Anne.
Emily Anne Elisabeth Anne Olivia Anne Ursula Anne Ella Anne It's hard to find a name to go with Anne that starts with a vowel. |

To fit your criteria (and also avoiding ending in a vowel before MN beginning in a vowel):
Astrid Anne Amethyst Anne Emerald Anne Emmeline Anne Ingrid Anne Iris Anne Isis Anne Indris Anne ETA I think Bree would be a bit strange running into Anne and thus creating a full name out of the two. This post has been edited by Gudrun: 10/12/2012, 10:57 PM |

Emily Anne is pretty! So is Imogen Anne.
Or how about, Eliza Anne Elora Anne Indigo Anne Hmm, this is hard! I don't think A names sound good with Anne and then names like Ella, Isabelle etc sound a little silly with an ell surname. Is your surname Parnell? I thought of some others too, Ariana, Indianna... But they just sound silly with Anne! I think your going to be very limited in your options if you want to have Anne as the middle name. Not many vowel names go with it as it already starts with a vowel. |

Honestly, I think if you avoid names starting with F and possibly P and Y then any other letter would be okay. A lot of people have word initials - I did ubtil I hyphenated my name on marriage - and it seriously never came up, even amongst those people who knew my MN.
In any event, how about: Alexis Anne Amy Anne Aura Anne Eden Anne Elliott Anne Evie Anne Iona Anne Iris Anne Opal Anne |
